A mixed choral ensemble formed by Jameson Marvin, former Director of Choral Activities at Harvard University (1978-2010). Featuring the characteristic attributes of Dr. Marvin’s choruses, the Jameson Singers has gained critical acclaim for their excellence in intonation, unified ensemble, and inspired, communicative singing. The Jameson Singers is open by audition to Boston area singers who have choral/vocal experience and quick musicianship. We offer two concerts per year, spanning choral literature from the 15th through the 21st centuries, sacred and secular, a cappella and choral orchestral. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at Payson Park Church, Belmont.
