A non-auditioned community chorus based in Montpelier, Vermont. Our singers, on average between 50-60 in number, come from the greater Central Vermont area. Over the years the Onion River Chorus has developed a reputation for its innovative programming, often championing the works of lesser known Baroque, 20th century and contemporary composers. Whether performing a cappella or collaborating with professional soloists and instrumentalists Onion River Chorus aspires to a high level of musicianship and provides an opportunity for artistic growth to all singers, regardless of their level of expertise. The chorus prepares 2 programs for performance each year.
