iCal 11:00 AM. Vocal Revolution [MA]: Free Outdoor A Cappella Music Festival. Groups will perform from 11 am-4 pm, with Vocal Revolution performing short sets throughout the day. Musical styles range from traditional barbershop to contemporary a cappella. Performers include Vocal Revolution, SIN(G) ,Common Sound, Back In Time, Boston Skyline, Berklee Upper Structure, Pow! Arrangers, Bostonality, Treble Alliance, The 508s, Tonehenge, Sound Off, Drive A Cappella, The Kinsey Scales, Univoz Vocal Ensemble, None of The Above, Street Magic. iCal 11:00 AM. Vocal Revolution [MA]: Vocal Revolution A Cappella Festival. Boston's top a cappella groups perform in a free a cappella festival from 11 AM to 3 PM, weather permitting (no rain date). The festival is organized by Vocal Revolution, which will be joined by None of the Above, Bostonality, Common Sound, SIN(G), Downtown Crossing, and others. Singers will perform music in styles ranging from today's pop music to the more traditional songs we sing to our children. The Herter Park Amphitheater has easy parking and open space for a family outing. Bring your lunch and make it a family picnic.   • The Seraphim Singers [MA]: Inspired to Joy. We have been through many challenges in recent years, yet Joy resurfaces from consolation growing into hope. Ivo Antognini: Hope is the thing with feathers (poetry by Emily Dickinson); Hubert Parry: There is an old belief; Samuel Coleridge-Taylor: Magnificat in F; Trevor Weston: Lauda (premiere, commissioned work, poetry by Angelo Geter); works of J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Biebl, and Maurice Duruflé. Pre-concert forum with Trevor Weston, and Angelo Geter at 7:30 pm on March 2. The March 3 concert will be broadcast.
