iCal 3:00 PM. Freelance Family Singers [VT]: 35th anniversary concert. Featuring a guest appearance by the Hanover-based University Chorus of the Upper Valley. Directed by Ellen Satterthwaite and sponsored by the Woodstock Recreation Department and other local supporters, the groups offers uplifting seasonal pieces in choral, small group, solo, and instrumental formats, including “Rhythm of Life” by Dorothy Fields and Richard Barnes (important in the creation of the Freelance Family Singers as a community based spinoff of the Woodstock Union High School choral groups thirty-five years ago). Refreshments follow the family-friendly concerts. Free, with a suggested donation of a non-perishable food item for the Community Food Shelf. First Congregational Church, 36 Elm Street, Woodstock VT
