iCal 3:00 PM. Stockbridge Festival Chorus [MA]: From Sea to Shining Sea. Works by Aaron Copland, Charles Ives, Alice Parker, Moses Hogan, and local composer Larry Wallach. A special piece, “Dear Sarah,” uses a letter written by Civil War Major Sullivan Ballou to his wife just prior to his deployment to the Battle of Bull Run, where he lost his life. Tracy Wilson, conductor; Aaron Likness, piano; Ed Lawrence, organ. Reception at Berkshire Waldorf High School.
