iCal 8:00 PM. Harvard Glee Club [MA]: The Legacy of W. E. B. Du Bois. A tribute to American sociologist, historian, civil rights activist, author, writer, editor, and Harvard alumnus (AB, 1890) W.E.B. Du Bois, with song, lectures, and recordings. Includes a choral interpretation of The Souls of Black Folk, with historic spirituals mentioned in the book; and the world premiere of To Love, by Nathan Robinson '20, with lyrics from Du Bois's writings. Featuring Tesfa Wondemagegnehu and Harvard faculty, including Jonathan Walton, Linda Chavers, Alison Frank Johnson, and Timothy Patrick McCarthy. Free admission.   • The Seraphim Singers [MA]: Inspired to Joy. We have been through many challenges in recent years, yet Joy resurfaces from consolation growing into hope. Ivo Antognini: Hope is the thing with feathers (poetry by Emily Dickinson); Hubert Parry: There is an old belief; Samuel Coleridge-Taylor: Magnificat in F; Trevor Weston: Lauda (premiere, commissioned work, poetry by Angelo Geter); works of J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Biebl, and Maurice Duruflé. Pre-concert forum with Trevor Weston, and Angelo Geter at 7:30 pm on March 2. The March 3 concert will be broadcast.
