Chorus description:
The Chelmsford Children's Chorus strives to inspire and empower young voices through the joy of music. Our goal is to foster musical excellence and develop future leaders. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can discover the transformative power of music. Our dedicated educators guide each child in the pursuit of musical excellence by offering a rich and diverse repertoire that spans various genres, cultures, and time periods. Through focused rehearsals, vocal training, and performance opportunities, we aim to develop technical proficiency, musicality, and a deep appreciation for the art of choral singing. The Chelmsford Children's Chorus is equally devoted to nurturing leadership skills. We believe that discipline, teamwork, and self-expression, which are inherent in choral singing, contribute to the development of confident and effective leaders. Through mentorship programs, collaborative projects, and opportunities for singers to take on leadership roles within the chorus, we strive to empower each child to become a positive influence both within the chorus and in their greater community. We aim to create a community where each child feels valued and supported, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence in their musical and leadership abilities. We believe every child has potential. It is our responsibility to help them achieve success both in and out of the chorus. The CCC is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture Program. Our participation in this program and ability to provide financial aid is made possible by our generous donors.
