Chorus description:
Jubilate Chorale is the premier community choir of the greater Brockton area. Founded in 1977, the chorale is committed to the performance and enjoyment of choral music, providing growth and enrichment to participating singers, and encouraging youthful singers to continue developing their musical skills throughout their adult lives. Jubilate is currently in their 49th season and performs two concerts annually, in December and May. Our extensive history includes performances at venues around the world, including an Italy tour to Florence and Rome (and performing during Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica), participation in the Ballerup invitational Choral Festival of Denmark with side trips to Germany and Austria, and a tour to the former Yugoslavia. Locally, Jubilate has performed at le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City, St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal, and at the Stowe Choral Festival in Vermont. Jubilate has participated in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrations at the Tremont Temple in Boston, as well as holiday performances at the Breakers Mansion in Newport, RI. Jubilate Chorale members have enjoyed collaborations with the Rose Conservatory, Brockton Symphony Orchestra, and Bridgewater State University Choral Society.
