Lexington Pops Chorus will hold two free open rehearsals, January 27th and February 3rd in Clark Hall at Hancock Church, 1912 Mass Ave, Lexington (on the Green). We welcome new singers each September and January. Auditions are not required, but singers must be able to read music. We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, jazz, blues, folk, gospel, Broadway and more. Our spring concert will be held mid-May. We also have a winter concert held in mid-January. Lexington Pops Chorus is in its 44th season and enjoys the enthusiasm of singers from over 20 towns. Maxwell Evrard is the chorus’s Conductor/Director. John Tarrh has been the Assistant Conductor for 11 years. David Owens, Accompanist, is in his 22nd season with the chorus. Lexington Pops Chorus is a member of The Greater Boston Choral Consortium.
