Based on poetry by Ruth Kessler, it portrays three legendary women: the Biblical Eve; The Absinthe Drinker, from the painting by Edgar Degas; and Alice in Wonderland. Other great women on the program include Emily Dickinson, Sara Teasdale, and Gwyneth Walker.
