TBD. GMChorale [CT]: Auditions for "Letter from Italy, 1944". GMChorale (Greater Middletown Chorale) invites experienced singers to audition with Artistic Director Joseph D'Eugenio for their Spring concert season featuring Sarah Meneely-Kyder’s "Letter from Italy, 1944," which explores the national problem of PTSD and its effect on families by examining the true story of one soldier through music, art and theater. The May 4, 2017, second performance of the work combines the vocal forces of the GMChorale and the Hartford Chorale, accompanied by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra at The Bushnell in Hartford.
