7:30 PM. Calliope Inc. [MA]: Benefit concert for Sacred Threads. The program reflects Sacred Thread's mission to nourish, connect and inspire women by weaving spirituality into everyday life. Works include Adria Stolk's Leaf to Leaf (world premiere), a choral/orchestral work written for Sacred Threads and this performance; an excerpt from Dvořák's oratorio St. Ludmila; "Kyrie" from James Whitbourn's Annelies; "Climb Ev'ry Mountain"; "You'll Never Walk Alone"; The Prayer (made famous by Andrea Bocelli); two settings of "The Rose of Sharon" from the Song of Solomon; and orchestral works by little-known women composers.
