Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. A holiday concert celebrating the beauty of unaccompanied choral singing, including selections from Josef Rheinberger’s Advent motets and pieces by Josquin des Prez, Cecilia McDowall, Sally Herman, and Juan Garcia de Salazar. We will also feature a set of spirituals, including two Christmas spirituals arranged by David Blackwell and Rosephanye Powell’s “Be Glad in the Lord.” Lastly, we will invite you to raise your voices with ours to sing some beloved seasonal carols.
