7:30 PM. Vocal Revolution [MA]: New member auditions. Vocal Revolution is a four part a cappella men's chorus that meets Thursday nights at 7:30 PM in Temple Emunah, 9 Piper Road, Lexington Mass ("shuttle service" is provided on request from Alewife Station for those who don't have cars). We will have two part auditions starting on 9/6/19, and we welcome male singers to come try out for our group. Vocal Revolution won the WGBH Sing That Thing Competition three years ago and is entering again this year; they are 16- or 17-time winners of the Northeastern District Competition of the Barbershop Harmony Society and have placed in the top 25 at International many times. Performances are dynamic: We sing and place a great deal of emphasis on communicating the meaning of the song. We do not hold music, so the ability to memorize from the chart or from a learning track is important. If you are interested, contact membership VP Tony Guerra, or just come to a rehearsal.
