Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:30 PM. Music on the Hill [CT]: Sounds of the Season. Works by Kim André Arnesen and Morten Lauridsen; Gwyneth Walker: "The Heavens Delight"; Hans Leo Hassler: "Cantate Domino"; Elizabeth Poston: "Jesus Christ the Apple Tree"; Jean Berger: "What Sweeter Music Can We Bring?"; and the French traditional carol "Masters in This Hall." The bell ringers will perform an arrangement of the plainchant melody Divinium mysterium ("Of the Father's Love Begotten"), and will accompany more familiar carols. $20 donation accepted but not required.
