Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:30 PM. Mystic Chorale [MA]: TOGETHER: Mystic Chorale sings live again! Directed by Nick Page and featuring Donnell Patterson on piano, a smaller but stalwart chorus brings back some of Mystic’s favorite songs of celebration, including Miriam Makeba's Pata Pata with returning guest Nthabi Thakadu; "Glory to God" from Handel's Messiah; Nick Page’s arrangement of Joey Weisenberg’s Kol HaNeshama; the Gospel prayer "I Need You to Survive" (led by Nthabi); Ysaye Barnwell's arrangements of "Power! Lord!" and "Steal Away"; and Donnell’s soul-stirring arrangement of "Every Day Is a Day of Thanksgiving", featuring returning soloist Louise Grasmere. Proof of vaccination is required of all in attendance, along with spaced-out seating and masks throughout the performance. Tickets: $20 general admission, $10 livestreaming access.
