3:00 PM. Rhode Island Civic Chorale and Orchestra [RI]: Essential Voices. Works by William Byrd, J.S. Bach, and Hildegard von Bingen, paired with those of Elaine Hagenberg, Dale Trumbore, and Caroline Shaw; with a world premiere by David Ibbett. The concert aims to highlight how essential voices from the past are still speaking to us today, and how today’s composers are adding their voices to that tradition.
