2022 Grant Applications Now Being Accepted: Deadline Soon!

Applications are now available for 2022 Alfred Nash Patterson Grants. To apply for a grant, complete the online form on or before the deadline of Monday, February 28, 2022. Located elsewhere on this website are full application instructions, information about last year's recipients, and a list of past recipients.

Choral Arts New England has given Alfred Nash Patterson grants, established in memory of the legendary founding music director of Boston's Chorus pro Musica, since 1985. The purpose of the grants is to support choral music in New England. Recipients include New England choruses, both amateur and professional; parent organizations of New England choruses; and any other group supporting choral music in New England. Church choirs, school or college choruses, and non-performing organizations are eligible. Grant recipients must be non-profit and certified tax-exempt — 501(c)(3) — by the IRS.

Thanks to the success of our ongoing A Voice for Voices campagn, the total amount of money available for 2022 grants will be substantially largeer than in previous years. We encourage creative and ambitious projects, including those involving collaborations, and which may take place more than one year into the future.

Grant decisions will be made by mid-April, 2022.
