The Seasons is a four-part oratorio composed towards the end of Haydn's prolific career. It is based on an epic poem by James Thomson that describes the sublime in nature that is to be found in the countryside throughout the year. The Paul Madore Chorale has been presenting quality choral music to audiences on Boston's North Shore since 1966. Based in Salem, the Chorale has a membership of approximately 60 singers drawn from 15 communities in the area.
