A U.S. 250th anniversary concert sponsored by Celebrity Series of Boston. Each youth choir presents a unique musical setting of Langston Hughes’ poem “I Dream A World,” by composers Rollo Dilworth, Mike Block, Andre Thomas, Dan Welcher, and others. With the world premiere of a work by B.E. Boykin setting text by Phillis Wheatley, and an arrangement for two cellos of Wheatley’s “A Farewell to America.” Mike Block and Francesca McNeeley, cello.
