Hans Leo Hassler: "Dixit Maria"; Missa super Dixit Maria (imitation mass); Johann Sebastian Bach: "Jesu, meine Freude" BWV 227. The concerts explores the musical connections between Hassler, who was one of the originators of German Baroque style, and Bach, who was arguably its pinnacle and last great practitioner.
