The concert program features Vivaldi's Gloria, an audience favorite, with Haydn's Missa Sancta Nicolai (St. Nicholas Mass), and a short sing-along of some popular holiday tunes. The concert is accompanied by Sarah Haera Tocco and the Choral Art Society Chamber Ensemble, a smaller group from our regular orchestra. The chorus has been led by Danica A. Buckley, Artistic Director and Conductor, since 2005. Concert soloists are from the chorus, and represent several communities on the South Shore: Sally Avery, Barbara Baumgarten, and John Lengyel, Cohasset; Lisa Jeannero, Hingham; Robin Flint, Gerri Smith, Geoff Smith, and Todd Weber, Hull; Paul Frazier, Kingston; and Nick Waterman, Scituate.
\ \ Proceeds from each concert help fund a $1000 scholarship awarded each year to a high school senior from the South Shore who is going to college to major in music.
