iCal 5:00 PM. Voices of Concinnity [CT]: Candlelight Concert. A holiday concert experience featuring songs to bring light and peace composed by Judith Weir, Ola Gjeilo, Eleanor Daley, Reena Esmail, and many more, including the premiere of a new arrangement by Gregory Brown. Options for the audience to sing with Concinnity will be interspersed throughout. Admission is free, but donations are welcome for Hands on Hartford, a social service nonprofit organization that serves Hartford’s most economically challenged residents in the areas of food, housing, and health.  For more information, email consonare.sing@gmail.com. iCal 7:00 PM. Voices of Concinnity [CT]: Hearth: on finding home. Music by Eric Whitacre, Billie Ellish, Susan LaBarr, B.E. Boykin, Nico Gutierrez, and a premiere of a new work by Brian Jones. Proceeds will benefit F.O.S.T.E.R. Independence Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization that helps Connecticut “independent students” (students experiencing family estrangement, housing insecurity, or foster care) to successfully graduate from college.   • The Seraphim Singers [MA]: Inspired to Joy. We have been through many challenges in recent years, yet Joy resurfaces from consolation growing into hope. Ivo Antognini: Hope is the thing with feathers (poetry by Emily Dickinson); Hubert Parry: There is an old belief; Samuel Coleridge-Taylor: Magnificat in F; Trevor Weston: Lauda (premiere, commissioned work, poetry by Angelo Geter); works of J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Biebl, and Maurice Duruflé. Pre-concert forum with Trevor Weston, and Angelo Geter at 7:30 pm on March 2. The March 3 concert will be broadcast.
