Folk songs of the woods and the waterfront, Algonquin and Penobscot water songs, arrangements of Shaker tunes and of French Canadian and Scottish songs. Four of the pieces on the program are based on the works of some of Maine’s most prolific poets (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Edna St. Vicent Millay, Edward Arlington Robinson, and Philip Booth). Featured composer is Matt LaBerge. Featuring: Castlebay, accompanied by a small orchestra, with special guests Julia Lane and Fred Gosbee. Tickets: $18 online;, $20 at the door.
