Do you love Christmas music? Enjoy singing? Join The Area Choir, a spirited and joyous community Christmas choir, now in our 70th year!

The Area Choir is open to all – no fee, church affiliation, or audition required, only the enjoyment of making music with others. Singers come from a wide range of communities in New Hampshire and Vermont.

In celebration of our 70th anniversary, The Area Choir will be joined by a string quartet for a selected group of songs in our three concerts, made possible by a generous grant from the Choral Arts Foundation of the Upper Valley in New Hampshire.

Directed by Susan Cancio-Bello, rehearsals begin October 15 from 4 to 6 PM at South Congregational Church in Newport, NH and continue each Sunday through November, with a dress rehearsal and three concerts on Dec. 1, 2, and 3.
