W.A. Mozart: Requiem, in a new completion by Michael Ostrzyga. With the world première of Ostrzyga's tegruseR (2017). In partnership with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP). Performances: Friday July 28, 8 pm at Sanders Theatre (free admission), and Sunday July 30, 3 pm at Peterborough Town House, Peterborough NH (as part of the Monadnock Music Festival). Maestro Ostrzyga is the Music Director at the University of Cologne where he conducts the Symphony Orchestra, Choir, and Chamber Choir, and he has gained an international reputation as a composer of choral music, having been commissioned by performers and festivals around the globe.

Rehearsals: Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7 pm-9:30 pm beginning June 20 at Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall

Auditions for all prospective members of the 2017 Summer Chorus will take place from June 16 to June 19 in Holden Chapel, Harvard Yard. No prepared piece is necessary, and you do not need to sign up for an audition time in advance. Community members are asked to contribute $40 in dues.
