The Chamber Singers of Keene is currently accepting applications for a Music Director, beginning in August of 2025.  Chamber Singers of Keene, founded in 1994, is dedicated to bringing choral chamber music in all its forms to audiences in the Monadnock region. Not limited to music of any single period, the Chamber Singers present a variety of styles and periods of music, both a capella and with appropriate instrumental accompaniment. • Plan, rehearse, and conduct youth choirs in the Monadnock area.
• Teach age-appropriate aural and written music literacy skills to children in grades 5-12.
• Execute recruitment and auditions of singers with Administrative Coordinator.
• Organize and facilitate parent/family communication.
• Represent GMYC in community and statewide events to broaden awareness of the organization, develop new partnerships.
• Oversee Admin Assistant and contractors.
• Work with board and staff to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning and community outreach.

Monadnock Chorus is a non-auditioned chorus founded in 1959. It is part of the vibrant arts community in the Monadnock Region. Our core mission is to bring amazing choral music to the community, support a community of music lovers, and bring choral music to the wider community.
