ACDA Vermont

We are a group of choral professionals whose joy comes from the performance, composition, publishing, research, and teaching the fine art of choral music. We are a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote excellence in choral music.

From the smallest towns to the largest cities across America, we strive to elevate the role of choral music and the way it touches our society.

We inspire and lead over a million singers nation-wide, combining individual voices into an instrument of incomparable beauty.

We are the American Choral Directors Association.

Vermont Arts Council

Since 1965, the Vermont Arts Council has been the state's primary provider of funding, advocacy, and information for the arts in Vermont. The Vermont Arts Council is unique. It is the only designated state arts agency in the U.S. that is also an independent nonprofit organization.

Mission: To cultivate and advance the arts and creativity throughout Vermont.

"Six Degrees" Workshops Address Climate Change

The Vermont professonal chorus Counterpoint is presenting a series of workshops throughout the state during the 2018–2019 season that are designed to educate and motivate young students on the dangers of human-caused climate change. The program is called "Six Degrees," a double reference both to the cataclysmic result of the warming of the planet by six degrees Celsius, and to the “six degrees of separation” that connect all of humanity. The program is available to schools and community organizations throughout Vermont for the symbolic fee of $350.00.
