Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:30 PM. Women in Harmony [ME]: In Remembrance. Diane Benjamin: Where I Live (A Breast Cancer Oratorio), a multi-movement work for women's chorus, narrator, strings, piano, and percussion; with Ysaye Barnwell: Breaths; Eleanor Daley: "In Remembrance", from her Requiem; and other works honoring friends and family who have passed away. Diane Benjamin will travel to Portland for the concerts to work with the chorus and to answer questions from the audience. Community partners: The American Cancer Society and the Cancer Community Center in South Portland.
