Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. 7:30 PM. The Maine Music Society Chorale [ME]: Battle of the Blends XXIII. Groups from around New England gather to present a variety of a cappella music, ranging from madrigals to modern jazz and pop. Coming together to benefit MMS are the Crosstones, None of the Above, Northfield, Edward Little A Cappella Choir, the Afternotes and the Maine Music Society Chamber Singers. MMS supports the artistic and educational activities of the auditioned, volunteer singers of the Maine Music Society Chorale, the Maine Music Society Chamber Singers, and the professional players of the Maine Music Society Orchestra.
