2:30 PM. Assabet Valley Mastersingers [MA]: The Poet Sings. Poems by Bishop, Blake, Lord Byron, Wordsworth and others come to life in settings by Finzi, Laurdisen, Stroope, Tavener, Vasks, Whitacre and more. Poet, scholar, teacher, and classical music critic Lloyd Schwartz will read the poems prior to each musical setting.
