3:00 PM. Connecticut Master Chorale [CT]: Holiday Prelude Concert. An eclectic collection reflecting many cultures of music for Thanksgiving, Advent, Hanukkah, and Christmas, including a resplendent brass fanfare, carols, lullabies, calypso, big band, jazz, and gospel. Featured works include A Celtic Christmas; Dan Forest's See Amid the Winter's Snow; "African Star Carol" from South Africa; "La Trulla" from Puerto Rico; "Believe" from the movie Polar Express; and the jazzy standard "That's What I Want for Christmas".
