6:30 PM. Chorus pro Musica [MA]: Sneak Peak of new commission by Andy Vores, "In Childhood's Thicket". Talk by composer Andy Vores and open rehearsal of In Childhood's Thicket, commissioned by Chorus pro Musica and to be premiered on Nov. 5. Andy will discuss the inspiration for the piece, the challenges and rewards of being commissioned for such a composition, and the journey to opening night. The talk will be followed by an open rehearsal featuring the chorus performing movements from the piece. Free admission.
