3:00 PM. Cantilena Chamber Choir [MA]: Music of the Sistine Chapel. Gregorio Allegri: Miserere; and music of Palestrina, Anerio, Josquin, and Morales. Music is accompanied by a showing of ceiling frescoes and tapestries. With choirs from St. Ann’s Church in Lenox and Trinity’s Children’s Choir. Pre-concert lecture at 2:30 pm, "The Sistine Chapel: Michelangelo and More", by E.J. Johnson, Williams College professor emeritus. Proceeds benefit Trinity Church’s renovation project.
