Auditions

Auditions are open for Back Bay Chorale, Brattleboro Camerata, Brattleboro Concert Choir, The Cambridge Chamber Singers , Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Cantilena, Coro Allegro, Crescendo Music, GM Chorale, Jameson Singers, Lexington Pops Chorus, Masterworks Chorale, Mystic River Chorale, New England Classical Singers, The Oriana Consort and Zamir Chorale of Boston. iCal 7:30 PM. The Maine Music Society Chorale [ME]: The Greatest Hits of the Past 400 Years. Some of the most famous and favorite choral arrangements from the Renaissance to the present, including both Handel’s and Beethoven’s triumphant versions of “Hallelujah,” familiar pieces by Mozart, Bach, and Tallis, and modern works by Randall Thompson (“The Road Not Taken”), Aaron Copeland (“Zion's Walls”), and Carl Orff (“O Fortuna” from Carmina Burana). Christy Comeau-Pierce, soprano; Brian Pfohl, tenor; Carl Steidel, bass; Bridget Convey, piano; Dr. Richard Nickerson, conductor, in his debut season as Artistic Director. Audience members 12-years or older must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or of a negative authorized COVID-19 test result for admission, and all attendees must be masked while in the Franco Center. Tickets: $22 adult, $20 senior, $10 student, children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult, plus $2 handling fee. No reserved seating.
