7:00 PM. The Maine Music Society [ME]: 31st Annual Battle of the Blends. Five premier vocal groups appear in a celebration of live a cappella music, spanning genres from traditional barbershop and folk to contemporary jazz, pop, and rock. Participants: Maine Music Society Chamber Singers, The Downeasters, None of the Above, Maine Renaissance (the University of Maine’s premier, thirteen member, all-treble a cappella group), and Acapetal (a student-run mixed-voice group at Brunswick High School). Master of Ceremonies is MMS Artistic Director Richard Nickerson. Tickets: $32, $6 student [13+], free for child 12 & under when accompanied by adult.
