31st Annual Ogontz Choral Workshop—Online
Ogontz Arts Foundation will host a three-day choral workshop on Zoom, Monday through Wednesday, August 3, 4, and 5.
David Hill, director of London's Bach Choir and Yale's Schola Cantorum, will lead two sessions a day, exploring a different masterwork each day and providing insight into the context and meaning of each piece. Digital scores will be provided at no extra cost. Paula Rockwell, mezzo-soprano, will lead warm-ups and collaborate with David in helping singers navigate the vocal challenges of each piece. She also will provide a master class opportunity and host a virtual recital, a retrospective of past favorite solos.
Additional activities include yoga for singers and social time at the virtual Green Chairs.
